How much does motorhome rental actually cost?

It's one of the most frequent questions we receive. Understandably — price matters when making a decision. This guide will give you a complete, transparent picture of the real costs of a one- or two-week trip in a GetFar motorhome. No hidden charges, no surprises.

The minimum rental is 3 nights. For longer trips we recommend 7 or 14 nights — it gives you enough time for comfortable travel.

What IS included in the price

All of this comes without any surcharge:

**Camping furniture:** 2 camping chairs + 4 chairs

**Connection equipment:** 10 m hose, 25 m extension cable

**Fuel for appliances:** 11 kg propane (LPG for heating and cooking)

**Slovak motorway vignette:** for driving in Slovakia

**Safety:** spare wheel, basic first-aid kit

**Bicycle carrier:** for 2 bicycles (tow-ball mounted)

**Insurance:** Generali Komfort — covers the whole EU including collision, theft, roadside assistance

**Kilometres:** unlimited — drive as much as you like

What is NOT included (extras)

**Fuel:** The Fiat Ducato 2.3 diesel consumes approximately 10–13 L/100 km. Calculate on an average of 11 L/100 km. A 1,000 km trip → approx. 121 EUR (at 1.10 EUR/L diesel).

**Camping fees:** These vary by country and campsite quality:

Slovakia: 8–20 EUR/night

Croatia (coast): 20–45 EUR/night (season), 12–25 EUR/night (off-season)

Austria/Italy: 20–40 EUR/night

Stellplatz (motorhome parking): 10–25 EUR/night

**PREMIUM Package (optional, 15 EUR/night):** Includes GPS navigation, children's table and chairs, extended pick-up/drop-off times, priority parking at GetFar.

Electric equipment (optional rental):

Electric bicycles (2x): 100 EUR/week

Electric scooter: 50 EUR/week

DeLonghi coffee machine: 20 EUR/week

Electric grill: 20 EUR/week

**Security deposit:** 1,000 EUR blocked on your payment card. Returned immediately after vehicle return and inspection — it is not a payment, just a temporary hold.
